About the Program:
Welcome Runners! The Function OVER Fitness Program is a 6-week strength, injury prevention, & wellness program to help you excel as a runner and achieve your biggest health & fitness goals. Unlike other programs on the market, we prioritize quality over quality. This approach will help you see consistent results that are sustainable over an extended period of time. Not to mention you will feel and run the best you have in years!

When it comes to successful running, it's about so much more than simply logging miles. From strength training, injury prevention, & mobility, to proper nutrition, sleep/recovery, & stress management. All of these areas need to be maximized to boost performance while also improving function of the human body. 

Luckily for you, the Function OVER Fitness Program is unlike any other on the market. We place emphasis on restoring range of motion, building strength & stamina, and improving nutrition & other foundational areas which create lasting results. Oh yeah, not to mention you can do so while competing against other motivated runners for some pretty sweet prizes!

In addition to check-ins every Sunday evening that track completion of your workouts, consuming the proper amount of water, getting adequate sleep, and several other items... you will also be able to achieve points through a weekly round of bingo. This includes a series of simple and fun tasks that address the other areas which maximize running, health, & well-being. These include: mindfulness, nutrition, disconnecting from technology, and moving on your lunch break. At the end of the 6-week program, the participant with the most points will receive a check refund for the full amount paid for the program and a $100 Amazon gift card.

With three tiers available to help you see the absolute best results possible, rest assured that you will be in a better place after 6-weeks of the Function OVER Fitness Program. Previous participants have improved running times, increased full body strength, reduced/eliminated pain, improved body composition, and done so in a way that is sustainable.
The Function OVER Fitness Program Includes:
  • Functional Movement Evaluation - Find your baseline and identify risk factors associated with injury during a thorough movement evaluation. This can be completed virtually or locally at Motiv8 Fitness in West Bloomfield, MI depending on your location and needs.
  • Individualized Program - Based on your goals, injury history, and evaluation, we will design you an individualized strength training & injury prevention program that fits your needs and weekly routine. This program will be accessible to you in the TrueCoach app which includes video demonstrations, the specified sets & repetitions, and the ability to communicate with your coach on a daily basis for feedback and accountability.
  • Add-On Services - With 2 different tiers to choose from, easily add more one-on-one attention, a custom running plan, and nutrition coaching to see the absolute best results possible. These options are available with the various tiers, and designed to exponentially increase your success at the end of the 6-week program.
  • Follow-Up Testing - Our #1 goal is to get you results! See how you have improved over the 6-week timeframe with follow-up strength/endurance testing.
  • Private Facebook Community - Join the private Facebook community that is only accessible to those in the Function OVER Fitness Program. This is a great way to surround yourself and interact with a motivated community of people, stay accountable, and learn additional strategies that will foster long-term success.
  • Weekly Accountability - Achieve points each week by completing assigned tasks. The weekly check-ins will be used to determine the winner of the program since everyone will be at a different ability level and have their own individualized training plan.

Hiya!

My name is Garrett McLaughlin and I'm a healthcare licensed athletic trainer, strength & conditioning coach, and soft-tissue manual therapist in West Bloomfield, Michigan. I run what is called the Healthy Running Program which has been helping people of all ages and ability levels become the best version of themselves possible for the last 6-years.

But enough about me, this is about YOU...

If you are similar to my clients, you want to get stronger, move better, and do so while remaining injury-free. Life sure does get challenging as we get older... whether it's aches & pains, poor sleep & nutrition, or having less time to focus on your own health while prioritizing the family, we need to do a better job of keeping things simple and consistent. That's where most people fail! With busy schedules, it's easy to aim for perfection but be unable to maintain this workload. Instead, I'd prefer you follow a simple and individualized plan that slowly moves you closer to your health & fitness goals while remaining a staple in your routine. This will create the best, and most sustainable long-term results.
